Indian baked goods, brownie bites and flavoured pastry cases will be among the new products on display at The UK Food & Drink Shows 2026 next week.

Taking place at the NEC Birmingham from Monday 13 to Wednesday 15 April, the event boasts 1,200 exhibitors and offers visitors invaluable insight on the topics and trends that are driving the industry.

The UK Food & Drink Shows comprises four shows under one roof: Food & Drink Expo, Farm Shop & Deli Show, National Convenience Show and Forecourt Show. Registration for the event is free of charge and gives entry to all four shows – for more information see the end of this article.

Egg-free, vegan and gluten-free desserts specialist The Eggless Baker will be launching a range of gluten-free range of cakes and brownies at the Farm Shop & Deli Show. Among the cake flavours are Chocolate Fudge, Cookies & Cream, Lemon & Raspberry, Mango & Pistachio, and Vanilla Berry. The business is also rolling out stuffed cookies, which have a filling that melts if warmed, in flavours including Roasted Marshmallow and Dark Chocolate & Hazelnut.

Few’r and Nomsi baked goods

Private-label supplier ANR-Probrand has developed two new cookie brands, Few’r and Nomsi, that are making their debut at The UK Food & Drink Shows. Few’r products are made with nine kitchen-staple ingredients ‘showing you don’t need a chemistry degree to understand what’s being put into the functional products’. Nomsi is described as the bakery snacking brand that isn’t taking itself too seriously, and each cookie has around half a gram of sugar while being high in protein and fibre.

Patisserie specialist Pidy is bringing a raft of new products to The UK Food & Drink Shows. These include trendies in three flavours – Lemon, Raspberry and Speculoos – that measure 4cm in diameter and are ideal for individual portions. The supplier has also rolled out a bunny-shaped puff pastry shell described as suitable for Easter and spring, children’s menus and themed events. And with demand for global cuisine remaining strong, Pidy has added two new Mediterranean inspired-flavours to its 3cm iris cup range – Garlic Butter & Parsley, and Tomato & Herbs de Provence.

UK-based wholesaler Barcode Food Limited last year launched its own consumer brand, Avanti. Among the products the supplier will be exhibiting at Food & Drink Expo are the brand’s Indian bakery selection, which includes traditional favourites such as rusk, khari (layered biscuits), nankhatai, makhania, and butter cookies. Barccode says these products bring authentic flavours that are popular for tea-time and appeal to both traditional and new audiences.

DoughGirl was launched last year by Emma and Stuart Colclough, directors of The Chuckling Cheese Company, to offer luxurious treats in creative and seasonal flavours. Visitors to the show will be able to see the brand’s range of Cookie Pie Slices, Deluxe Cookies and Signature Slices alongside its new 2026 Father’s Day range. The business will also be exhibiting its recently launched range of Choccy Boom Bites such as the Biscoff Loaded Legend Choccy Boom Bite – a brownie ball stuffed with Biscoff spread and coated in Biscoff sauce and topped with Biscoff Crumb.

Sweet bakery range

Based in Portadown, Northern Ireland, family-run Holmes Bakery has specialised in premium sweet bakery products for retail and foodservice markets since 1937. Today it supplies a range of customers including independent retailers, farm shops, wholesalers and major supermarket chains. The business will be showcasing several products from its sweet bakery range at the show, including its butter shortbread, milk choc rocky road, billionaire bars, and mince pies.

The UK Food & Drink Shows 2026

The UK Food & Drink Shows 2026, taking place at the NEC Birmingham from Monday 13 to Wednesday 15 April, comprises four shows that each target a sector of the food and drink industry:

  • Farm Shop & Deli Show offers the best-quality local and regional produce alongside the latest in equipment, labelling and packaging solutions
  • Food & Drink Expo is the destination for discovering fresh ideas, forging connections and gaining insights into the future of food. It attracts key foodservice buyers as well as decision makers from retail and wholesale grocery operations
  • Forecourt Show is the must-attend event for sourcing products, fresh ideas and smart solutions to future-proof your business
  • National Convenience Show is the biggest event for the convenience retailing sector and is a one-stop destination for c-store specific products, services and innovations.

Around 1,200 businesses will be exhibiting across the four shows, and more than 25,000 visitors are expected to attend the event to explore new products, services and equipment that will help their businesses flourish.

Once again, The UK Food & Drink Shows will offer a packed programme of insightful panels and expert speakers alongside new attractions. These will include a Spotlight on Coffee Shop & Café highlighting the latest trends and products shaping the sector, and a Spotlight on Future Foods that will showcase wellness-driven, clean-label and sustainable products.

To ensure visitors make the most of their visit, an online digital event companion will offer a comprehensive event guide, interactive floorplan and real-time notifications.

The UK Food & Drink Shows is organised by business information provider William Reed.
