Costa Coffee has unveiled a Lotus Biscoff muffin as part of its limited-edition autumn menu.
The spiced muffin, priced £2.25, contains a Biscoff spread and is topped with the biscuit and toffee icing.
Other new Costa sweet products include a Vegan Chocolate, Caramel & Hazelnut Cookie (£1.85), and a Chocolate & Caramel Bun (£1.95).
Costa’s Raspberry & White Chocolate Muffin (£1.95) and Seriously Chocolate Cake (£2.95) have also returned, said the food-to-go retailer, which operates more than 2,600 coffee shops in the UK.
“This is an incredibly exciting time for Lotus Biscoff as we partner with Costa Coffee,” said Frances Booth, category marketing manager at Lotus Bakeries.
“It is a momentous launch, not only because we are collaborating with the largest coffee shop brand in the UK, but because it gives our fans yet another way in which they can enjoy the uniquely delicious taste of Lotus Biscoff.”
Eric Tavoukdjian, commercial marketing director UK & Ireland at Costa Coffee, added: “Our product innovation team leapt at the chance to capture the flavour of Lotus Biscoff as a muffin.”
In July, Lotus launched Biscoff & Go – a snack pack with breadsticks and a Biscoff spread dip. The brand said the launch was the result of “huge demand for more Lotus Biscoff products in the UK”.
