West Lothian shortbread manufacturer Paterson’s has launched what it claims is a twist on the traditional flapjack in the form of oat snacking bars.
The vegan-friendly Fruity & Filling Oat Bars are made with real fruit pieces and are available in Raspberry & Apple and Blueberry & Cranberry variants.
The snacks, which contain 170 calories, are also palm oil-free and contain less than 2.5% saturated fat.
“In a time-pressured and busy world, consumer demand for new individually wrapped snack bars continues to grow, and Paterson’s Oat Bars are the ideal solution, delivering quality, provenance and environmental sustainability,” said Jonathan Guild, brand manager at Paterson’s.
The NPD is available in shelf-ready packaging of 24x40g individually-wrapped bars.
Paterson’s was founded in 1985 by Mr & Mrs Paterson in Rutherglen, Glasgow and has since grown to manufacture and sell millions of biscuits, oatcakes and jam across the globe.
