Northumbrian Fine Foods-owned Prewett’s has tapped into the on-the-go market with the introduction of ‘Mini’s’ cheese biscuits.

Rolling into Sainsbury’s, the savoury baked cheese flavoured biscuits will be available as five mini bags for £1.89 and a 125g larger bag at £1.99.

Prewett’s said the new product was ideal as a lunchbox treat or as an on-the-go snack.

“These tasty biscuits are crammed full of cheese flavour and are the perfect choice for gluten-free consumers looking for a delicious snack treat,” said Northumbrian Fine Foods’ business improvement director David Woods.

Prewett’s other savoury cheese biscuit range, Oaty Bites, is available in two flavours: Mature Cheddar & Black Pepper, and Parmesan.

The gluten-free brand expanded its Chocoful range in November 2017 with a chocolate-coated and caramel biscuit bar.
