Pukka Pies has revealed a record-breaking sales period, driven by its marketing campaign in 2017.
The brand’s sales exceeded £3.5m throughout November, which they said was a first for the business.
Pukka Pies launched the second part of its ‘Everything’s Pukka’ campaign last year, running from October to November 2017, across TV, retail marketing and social media with the objective of putting more pies on plates.
The brand said its annual growth was currently at £4.2m, and claimed that it continued to be the fastest-growing brand in the hot pie category. It added that this equated to 17.7% year-on-year growth, 27.5% growth on a 12-week basis and 13.1% growth on a four-week basis.
“For this integrated campaign, we delivered a hard-hitting TV creative, amplified our presence on social media, delivered impactful activations across our top grocery retailers, strengthened our PR plan and ran creative outdoor advertising nationwide,” said Pukka Pies’ head of marketing Lindsay Filmer.
“These have contributed to our record-breaking sales period in November last year,” Filmer added.
Pukka Pies revealed that its ‘Everything’s Pukka’ campaign drove over £3m in incremental pie sales across retailers in August 2017.
