Pukka Pies has announced a partnership with Real Radio to establish a stronger connection to the north west pie market.
Earlier in the year the pie manufacturer confirmed a shortcrust version of their pies would launch in the north west.
Running from August until December 2013, the Real Radio Northwest campaign was launched earlier this week by Hometime presenter Oli Kemp.
The new shortcrust pies are available in six flavours: Steak & Kidney, Chicken and Mushroom, Minced Beef & Onion, All Steak, Potato & Meat and Potato, Cheese and Onion.
Wayne Greensmith, marketing manager at Pukka Pies, said: "We have made a significant investment into the North West market and we are delighted to have partnered with Real Radio Northwest to deliver this campaign.
"The feedback for our new shortcrust pies in the north west has been outstanding and we hope this radio activity will help to continue that growth.”
He added: "In our 50th year we are continuing to innovate and develop products for our customers at this very exciting time for the company."
The business recently announced partnerships with Sheffield United Football Club and Bury Football Club.
Pukka Pies founder, Trevor Storer, passed away this week at the age of 83.
