Puratos has launched a ‘Virtual Innovation Center’, offering features including live chats with technical advisors and 24-hour assistance.
The new online platform is designed to provide resources and expertise that can help customers make their business more successful, said the company.
“With our Virtual Innovation Center, we are proud to offer a service based on state-of-the-art technologies, while at the same time keeping the human contact with our experts, which no technology can replace,” said Puratos CEO Daniel Malcorps.
The new platform will feature:
- Live Chat sessions with international and local technical advisors who can provide personalised solutions to customers’ challenges
- A Virtual Advisor offering customers 24/7 advice on their finished goods
- A database of more than 180 recipes where customers can find inspiration.
Also, a 360-degree virtual tour brings the company’s physical Innovation Center directly to the customers’ work space. A virtual walkthrough allows them to explore the centre and discover some of the services available without having to travel to the location.
Based on the outskirts of Brussels, Puratos offers a range of products and application expertise for artisans, industry, retailers and foodservice customers in bakery, patisserie and chocolate.
Last year the business opened a new Industrial Bakery Competence Centre at its UK Fringford Mill site near Bicester, Oxfordshire.
