Malt loaf maker Soreen has linked up with WHSmith for a new distribution partnership of its Malt Loaf bar.
The product, which will retail for £1, will be listed in 71 WHSmith Travel stores, including Manchester airport, Heathrow airport, and London’s Euston and King’s Cross train stations.
Bethan Brown, marketing manager at Soreen, said that the new distribution would help the brand reach health-conscious consumers.
“We’re confident the new listing are in step with where consumers are looking for healthier snacks, and will have a positive impact on sales amongst both new and existing customers,” Brown said.
Soreen said that the Malt Loaf bar, which is 124 calories, is suited for consumers in a convenient, individually wrapped format.
The malt loaf makers are aiming to boost its nutritional message with its partnerships with Disney and UK cinemas throughout May 2017.
