Yorkshire-based family bakery The Topping Pie Company has unveiled new Gourmet and Speciality baked frozen pie ranges, as well as a selection of unbaked frozen products.
Aimed at the foodservice market, the new Gourmet range offers frozen 200g pies in six flavours, including beef, shallots & portobello mushroom, beef & golden ale, steak, and chicken, pancetta, white wine & cream.
A range of baked frozen Speciality pork pies has also launched, from 120g topped pies to large 2.2kg cutting pies, alongside a range of handcrafted quiches. Also introduced is a selection of unbaked frozen pork and savoury pies, designed to be baked in-store and aimed at the independent retail sector.
“We are delighted to launch our new range of baked frozen and unbaked frozen product, which offer retailers the very best premium freshly baked taste without the worry of shelf life,” said Matthew Topping, sales director at The Topping Pie Company.
“These products also enable customers to control stock levels, without compromising on quality.”
The ranges were unveiled at the Farm Shop & Deli Show, held from 24-26 April at the NEC in Birmingham.
