Doncaster-based bakery The Topping Pie Company has secured a contract with The Channel Islands Co-operative Society to supply its range of products.
The Society has partnered with local food distributor Cimandis to create a supply chain of products from the UK, including Toppings.
Handcrafted speciality pork pies and Dinky Topped pork pies produced at Toppings’ bakery will launch at Grand Marché St Helier store in Jersey.
The products will then be rolled out to a further three outlets - a second in Jersey and two in Guernsey - within the next three months.
Roger Topping, managing director at The Topping Pie Company, said that the company was delighted to work with Cimandis.
“The Channel Islands Co-operative Society listing is a significant contract for us and we are proud to be among a selection of handpicked suppliers by the retailer which values quality and great taste on its deli counters.”
A range of Toppings products has also been listed in a further 20 outlets on the islands in the retail, hospitality, pub, café, sports, leisure and airport sectors.
This month, Toppings’ handcrafted game and poultry pie won a Yorkshire Taste Award.
