Warrens Bakery, the Cornish pasty and cake maker, has reintroduced its mince pie pasty due to popular demand.
The Christmas pasty is made with rough puff pastry filled with mincemeat and a vanilla custard, and is crimped by hand in the same way as the bakery’s savoury pasties. It’s then glazed and topped with a cinnamon and sugar blend for extra crunch.
On its website Warrens simply said: "Resistance is futile. This is delicious"
The pasties are available now and throughout the festive period in boxes of ten through the Warrens website, with an RRP of £38. They can be enjoyed hot or cold.
In the summer Warrens launched Cornish pasty flavoured crisps.
