
Wenzel’s The Bakers has unveiled a brand-new focaccia pizza range, refreshed its pre-packed sandwich line-up, and rolled out limited-edition bakes for World Cup parties.
The Watford-based family-owned chain, which operates 110 stores across London and beyond (placing it 14th in our Bakery Market Report 2026 list), said the latest launches reflect its continued focus on product innovation, customer demand for convenient food-to-go options, and seasonal offerings.

New pizzas comprise a base of Wenzel’s signature focaccia dough, which is slow-proved for a light, airy texture. They are available in three varieties: Margherita, Pepperoni, and Peri Peri Chicken.
A ‘Bundle It Your Way’ option sees customers choose any combination of the above toppings across four slices to create their perfect mix of flavours.
Wenzel’s new Sandwich Wedge range features updated packaging with improved presentation. There are classics such as Chicken Mayo Salad, Egg Mayo & Cress, Tuna Salad, and Chicken & Bacon, as well as more premium choices like Chicken, Avocado & Spinach, Cheese Ploughman’s, Ham & Mustard Mayo, Korean Chicken & Pickled Slaw, and Salami, Mozzarella & Pesto.
Customers can also buy them as part of a £5.95 meal deal, together with a snack and drink.

Lastly, Wenzel’s has created a limited-edition Match Day range of savoury and sweet offerings to celebrate England’s progress in the World Cup tournament, which kicks off tomorrow night (11 June).
This includes Gingerbread Footballers adorning England home and away shirts made of icing; an Iced England Doughnut finished with a red St George’s cross; a Korean Chicken Baguette filled with crispy chicken and bold Korean flavours; and a Chicken Fajita Wrap stuffed with seasoned chicken, peppers, and avocado.
Earlier this year, Wenzel’s rolled out a new pilot scheme designed to tackle shoplifting and increase staff safety through the transition to a counter-style service model.
