Greggs is to open a new shop at Three Bridges railway station, West Sussex, next week (Saturday, 3 February).
The store will serve up a range of savoury goods and sandwiches, freshly prepared throughout the day, alongside sweet products and hot drinks. Greggs’ Balanced Choice menu – which includes a selection of soups, salads, porridges and fruit for under 400 calories – will also be available.
The new store has created 12 new jobs and will be open seven days a week. While its predominant focus will be on food-to-go, there will be some seating.
The news comes a week after the chain announced plans to grow its estate to 2,000 stores over the coming year, with 130 new sites expected to be opened.
“We’re delighted to be able to invest in Crawley and provide our valued customers with a modern and convenient new shop,” said Roisin Currie, retail director for Greggs.
“We hope our new and existing customers enjoy the wide range of products on offer, whether they’re grabbing a hot cup of coffee, a freshly-made sandwich or a delicious savoury or sweet treat.”
