Paul UK is to open a new site at Oxford’s Westgate shopping centre, taking its total number of UK venues to 37.
The 123 sq ft bakery will be open seven days a week from 18 December and will be the group’s third operation outside London.
The new site, which is part of Westgate’s £440m development, will offer a range of pastries, artisan baguettes and patisserie, and follows the opening of a site in the city’s High Street in 2014.
“Our existing site in Oxford is consistently performing well and so we believe it is an ideal location for a second site,” said Paul UK’s chief executive Jean-Michel Orieux. “It has a wonderful balance of cultural heritage, a well-established local community and vibrant economic and tourist activity which will help the growth of our business.”
Paul UK opened a site in Hammersmith Broadway, West London on 6 December.
