Adams Food Ingredients has changed its name to Ornua Nutrition Ingredients.
The rebrand, which came into effect on 31 March, aims to give the Staffordshire-based business a clear link to its parent company Ornua, which until last year was known as the Irish Dairy Board.
Ornua claimed the new identity would enable the UK business to benefit from the group’s “financial, operational and commercial strength” and harness experience in areas such as “R&D, innovation and supply chain”.
Ornua Nutrition Ingredients, which has a turnover of £35 million, serves five key sectors: bakery, breakfast cereals, dairy trading, health & wellbeing, and sports nutrition.
Alastair Jackson, managing director of Ornua Nutrition Ingredients, said: “Our new name highlights the business’ commitment to achieving our vision of becoming a world-class supplier of ingredients, through focusing on understanding our customers’ needs, and meeting them through a combination of partnership, innovation and continued investment in the latest processing and packing technologies.”
