Next week’s Farm Shop & Deli Show is set to be the biggest yet – with 200 new exhibitors and a bigger machinery, packaging and equipment offer.
The exhibition, which runs from 20 to 22 April at the NEC in Birmingham, also includes a demonstration from Lee Smith, winner of 2014 Britain’s Best Loaf, sponsored by Rank Hovis.
Smith, owner of Bexhill Farm Kitchen, and winner of Britain’s Best Loaf for two years running, will be giving practical tips on how to make the best bakes and successfully edit your bread selection for increased sales. Plus, he will explain how to negotiate both the artisan and commercial bread categories, with an eye on understanding your customers’ unique needs.
Since the show started five years ago, it has grown to include the best possible offering in the speciality food and drink industry. With the exceptional increase in exhibitor numbers, the dedicated Cheese & Charcuterie Counters, Great New Idea competition, The Farm Shop & Deli Live Theatre, Dragons’ Pantry and the Farm Shop & Deli Awards, there is no excuse not to visit for 2015.
Jack Halliday, event director, said: “With the wide range of producers who will be showing and the specialist areas, Farm Shop & Deli Show 2015 is now THE ‘go to’ show for this sector of traditional and speciality retail products.
“Exhibitors and visitors to the show can be kept up-to-date on developments and new activities by following it on Twitter, where we have over 6,000 followers, as well as via Facebook and the website. From now until the show there will be regular updates on activities so that visitors can make the most of their visit.”
