Sandwich manufacturer Solway Foods is set to create 100 new jobs following new business wins over the past year.
The firm, part of 2 Sisters Food Group, supplies retail customers, including Tesco and Costa, from its factory at Manton Wood Enterprise Park, in Worksop.
Around 1,200 permanent staff are currently employed at the factory, with new business resulting in a 6% increase in production volumes.
Steve Bryant, general manager for Solway Foods, said: “The food industry overall remains tough and highly competitive, but the chilled sandwiches market is showing continued growth and, by putting our customers at the heart of everything we do, we have been able to benefit.”
