The Apprentice winner Alana Spencer is looking for a production pastry chef for her cake business Narna’s Cakes.
Spencer, from Ceredigion, Wales, tweeted from her personal account: “We are hiring. If you want to work for an exciting start-up, click the link.”
The role will be for six months and will be based in Aberystwyth, Wales. Applications for the vacancy will close on 2 February.
In December last year, Spencer was crowned winner of the 12th series of The Apprentice, securing a £250,000 investment and a 50/50 partnership with business magnate Lord Sugar.
Spencer’s new brand will be called Ridiculously Rich by Alana, and will offer six core products including brownies and cakes.
She stated in her final pitch on the show that she would be targeting food festivals and country shows, which she described as “knowing like the back of her hand”. She will be targeting delis, cafés and major retailers with her luxury homemade products in individual portions.
Spencer has been running trials of the new cake brand at the firm’s production site, Gower View Foods in Swansea.
