Social media comment during last night’s long-awaited Baking Industry Awards 2015 event helped British Baker reach more than 200,000 people on Twitter. 

Comments are still flooding in after around 800 members of the baking industry gathered en masse at the Hilton Park Lane in London to see who would be crowned this year.

The night, hosted by Claudia Winkleman, saw 11 of the industry’s best receive their deserved awards.  

The party was still going strong long into the early hours as winners celebrated and all attendees took advantage of the opportunity to network and catch up with old friends.

Guests were also entertained by the AB Mauri-sponsored casino, photo booth sponsored by Wright’s Baking Ingredients and a Kluman & Balter raffle. Soreen sponsored the champagne reception.
