Lanark-based manufacturer Border Biscuits has appointed a new product development (NPD) manager to the firm.
Victoria Lee joins the business from independent food company Paterson Arran, where she was responsible for leading strategic NPD projects to drive growth for both the foodservice and retail channels. She has also worked at Finsbury Food Group, Weightwatchers and New Primebake.
Lee will now lead the development of new recipes for family-owned Border Biscuits. She said: “I am keen to apply my knowledge and experience at Border as it is a business that cares about the consumer, its employees and the world around it. Border only uses the finest ingredients and this gives me a great platform to use.”
Border’s brand and innovation director Lesley Ann Gray said: “Victoria will play a key role in creating distinctive products that our consumers will love.”
Border Biscuits recently strengthened its presence in Asda with the addition of Dark Chocolate Gingers and Orange biscuits to its offer.
