High street bakery chain Greggs has announced that Raymond Reynolds, currently retail director, will become property and business development director.

Reynolds’ change of role will come into effect from April 2017 and follows a long career at the company. He joined Greggs’ retail management team in 1986. As general manager during the 1990s, he built a “significant new business for the company” in the Edinburgh region, and was appointed managing director for Scotland in 2002.

This month Greggs said it plans to increase the number of healthy options it offers, including a gluten-free range.
