Pete Welbourne, former owner of Welbourne’s Bakery in Lincolnshire, is hosting Bread Make, Bake and Taste in aid of the Teenage Cancer Trust.
On 12 March, third-generation baker Welbourne will host the charity event at The Venue in Navenby.
Welbourne regularly gives baking demonstrations across the county and beyond, and is known for his easy-to-follow baking style.
Welbourne said: “This is a chance for everyone to find out how a proper loaf of bread is made. We’ve been making it here for more than 100 years, so we know what we’re doing. Now we can pass those skills on to people who want to make their own.”
Visitors will be able to see how bread is made, before tasting it for themselves at the end of the session.
“It’s all for a good cause, and if we raise some funds from such an enjoyable day, then that’s fantastic,” added Welbourne.
