Ginsters has launched a limited-edition beef & horseradish pasty to raise money for Help for Heroes.
Ginsters, the savoury pastry brand, has partnered with Help for Heroes to launch a new limited-edition beef and horseradish pasty – 10p of every sale will be donated to the military charity.
The pasty will be available to all retailers from today (4 May) with an RRP of £1.99. It will be available to order for approximately six weeks.
Two Help for Heroes veterans, Brian and Dave, worked with Ginsters’ brand development chefs to create the new pasty, which contains British roast beef and horseradish sauce. Every pack features the Help for Heroes branding and a 10p donation message.
Jo Hartop, head of corporate communications for Ginsters, said: “We have been working with Help for Heroes for the past two years through our support for the Hero Bike Ride.
“Brian and Dave were an absolute delight to work with and the whole Ginsters team really enjoyed the time spent with them developing this special pasty.”
Marcus O’Shea, head of brand partnerships at Help for Heroes, said: “Brian and Dave specifically chose flavours which reminded them of home and the favourite foods they missed while serving overseas.”
Last month, Ginsters announced it is revamping its slices range with improved recipes and updated packaging.
