Healthy snack brand Graze has appointed Mark Wood as its new chief technology officer (CTO) and Louise Patterson as chief people officer (CPO).
Wood will be responsible for “driving technology-focused initiatives across the business, both at the front end and within Graze’s famously agile factories. He will draw on his wealth of e-commerce experience to propel the tech-focused vision of the company forwards,” according to the firm.
Wood has driven similar development via a number of tech platforms at companies including Betfair. He also previously worked as CTO at MyOptique Group, Europe’s largest optical retailer, and AlexandAlexa, a leading e-tailer specialising in children’s fashion and homeware.
Wood said of his appointment: “Graze is well-known for its use of technology to create, innovate and revolutionise the FMCG sector through its relationship and understanding of customers.
“I’m delighted to be part of this story and am excited about the possibilities and opportunities going forwards for us.”
In her new role as CPO, Patterson “will continue to develop Graze’s unique innovative and entrepreneurial culture to keep the business at the forefront of the healthy eating industry as it rapidly scales in both the UK and the US”.
Patterson said: “I’m very excited about the potential of the Graze brand and the ongoing work it is doing to bring technology and creativity together to make waves in the food industry.”
She joins from Camelot, a games business, where she helped the business adapt to a multichannel strategy. She has experience at international consumer goods companies including PepsiCo, Findus and Young’s Seafood.
