National Doughnut Week will celebrate its 25th anniversary from 7-14 May.
Bakers who want to launch fundraising and special sales initiatives for National Doughnut Week, can now register to do so.
Last year, £37,640 was raised, with all the money going directly to The Children’s Trust, the UK’s leading charity for children with brain injuries.
Bakers who register will receive a special pack full of promotional materials from sponsor CSM Bakery Solutions, with everything they need to make the most of the occasion.
Lisa Boswell, trade marketing manager at CSM Bakery Solutions, said: “We can’t wait for the biggest year for National Doughnut Week yet, and are so pleased to be involved with such a great cause.
“We’re determined to make our silver anniversary extra special, so are hoping to see some brilliant creativity from bakers, and some innovative and delicious silver-themed doughnuts.”
National Doughnut Week was launched in 1991 by independent baker, Christopher Freeman.
