We spoke to Ben Eastick at the Ragus factory in Slough.
Multimedia reporter, Ashley Williams was given a tour of the factory and shown its latest food manufacturing standards and processes, including the use of smart technology to ensure its pure sugars, glucose syrups and specialist blends are delivered on time and in full to customers.
Ragus supplies to artisan bakers and brewers and well-known blue-chip global brands with sugar products that are used across the baking industry.
The interview discusses the proposed legislation on sugar and the Food and Drink Federation’s advice to smaller and medium sized producers on sugar reduction and reformulation.
