The chief executive international bakery ingredients manufacturer Zeelandia Group, Roelof Krist, is to leave the company after more than 11 years.

Krist will step down to take retirement on 1 April this year, and the company has praised his work with the business.

Krist said: “I am proud of the current state of the Zeelandia Group. Contributing to Zeelandia’s growth was a challenge and an honour. The future of the group will be shaped by my successor, along with the two other members of the executive board.”

Since he joined as chief executive, the company has doubled its revenue and expanded its global reach.
