The Alliance for Bakery Students and Trainees (ABST), with the help of Rich Products, hosted a trial Creative Leadership/Problem Solving workshop at Tameside College on 6 December, with a view to rolling it out to the wider baking industry.
Attended by a number of key figures in the bakery trade, it looked at different ways of approaching problems, and how to creatively come up with solutions and implement them, as well as the benefits and negatives of different leadership techniques.
The workshop was run by Shari Rife, planning process leader within the international division of Rich Products in Buffalo, New York.
