recently visited The Village Bakery Coepoeth’s new Wrexham site, opened in June last year. The site, the result of a £7m investment, produces scones for Marks & Spencer’s (M&S’) in-store bakeries and Café Revive concepts, in a deal secured last summer. The bakery has just launched a new line a six-pack of fruited scones at the retailer. Jane Olney, national account manager for M&S at The Village Bakery, said the firm now supplies scones to 430 M&S in-store bakeries.
