Today is the last day to get your entries in for British Baker’s annual National Cupcake Championships.

The categories available to enter are: Best Decorated Cupcake of the Year, sponsored by Renshaw; Best Presented Cupcake of the Year, sponsored by Chevler; Most Innovative Cupcake of the Year, sponsored by FDQ; Best Cupcakes Crafted for Multiple Outlets; and Free-from Cupcake of the Year.

All cakes that make the shortlist for the above categories will be put forward for the Best Tasting Cupcake of the Year category, sponsored by Puratos. The baker with the best overall cupcake will be crowned National Cupcake Champion 2011 at an event in London on 15 August.
