Just over one week until this year’s Bakers’ & Butchers’ Fair!
The event will take place next Sunday (12 October) at Newark Showground, Nottinghamshire where bakers will have the chance to network and get information about new products.
There will be ample activity throughout the day, including stage demonstrations showing visitors how to make a Pork Pie held by Stephen Hallam, managing director of Dickinson & Morris.
The event also hosts the deciding final round of the three large competitions; the National Pie Competition, the ultimate sausage competition Champion of Champions, and of course Britain’s Best Loaf.
Launched last year, Britains Best Loaf seeks out the country’s finest bread in five different categories: Baguettes, Innovation, Sourdough, White and Wholegrain.
