William Jackson Food Group, United Biscuits and Macphie of Glenbervie were praised at the Food and Drink Federation’s (FDF) Community Partnership Awards yesterday (12 October).

Taking place at the Institute of Directors in London, the event served to reward the contributions and dedication of UK food and drink businesses in making a positive difference in both their local and business communities.

William Jackson Food Group was a Gold Award winner, United Biscuits achieved a Silver Award, and Macphie a Bronze.

Calum Marnock and Alexander Fleming, both of Kraft Foods UK & Ireland, were named Apprentice of the Year and runner-up Apprentice of the Year, respectively.

The event was hosted by Tim Campbell, the first winner of the hit BBC show The Apprentice.
