Cooplands of Doncaster head office and bakery has been brought to market for an undisclosed sum, after the bakery went into administration this February.
The 127,000sq ft site in Doncaster has been put up for sale by property consultant Bilfinger GVA, which was appointed by the administrator Deloitte.
The site comprises a partially let 19th century mill, and a fully let series of industrial buildings with a yard and car parking.
The machinery and shop contents are also up for auction, due to end 18 March. Edward Symmons Group has been appointed to auction the equipment, which includes ovens, bread slicers, display cabinets and fridges.
The business was bought by restructuring firm ReSolve in February, and the remaining 41 shops are being supplied by Hughes Family Bakers, based in Shipley in West Yorkshire. ReSolve also took over the company’s fleet of 26 bap vans.
