Furniss of Cornwall is now selling its Cornish Fairings biscuits in France. The biscuits will be hitting the shelves of Le Comptoir Irlandais stores across the country in its three varieties - orange and lemon, apple and cinnamon and stem ginger and honey - alongside its Cornish Gingerbread.
"Cornwall is being increasingly recognised as a gastro destination," said Mark Muncey, marketing manager at Furniss. "It is great to see that our products are not only in demand in the UK, but overseas too. It is a real coup to be exporting to a country so famous for its own cuisine and we hope our French cousins enjoy this little taste of Cornwall."
Anne-Emmanuelle Charles at Le Comptoir Irlandais said: "We make it our aim to bring the very best in authentic Celtic produce to our customers in France and Furniss has the Celtic heritage that we look for in a supplier."
