Fletchers Bakeries in Sheffield has announced major changes to its management team, following a recent review of its structure and operations performance.
It said the review of its management team "complements its new structure that now incorporates autonomous business units".
By mutual agreement, Scott Wallace has stepped down from his role as MD and left the business. "His contribution to the business over the last 18 months has been extremely valuable," said a spokesperson.
Stephen Holding will become the new MD this month. He has leadership expertise in running a multi-site organisation and a commercial and customer background. He joins from Bakkavor, where he has spent the last 11 years.
Peter Williams, formerly of Young’s Bluecrest Seafoods, became general manager of the Sheffield site in July. Stephen Saunders, formerly of Pork Farms, has also joined the procurement team.
Fletchers Bakeries was acquired from Northern Foods by Vision Capital last year.
