It is the last chance for wannabe cupcake champions to get their entries in for the National Cupcake Championships.
The deadline is Thursday 6 August and there are six categories to choose from: Classic; Chocolate; Made with Alcohol; Free From; Seasonal; and Children’s.
Entries cost £15+VAT and entrants must have a registered UK business.
A panel of judges will pick 10 finalists in each category, who will then be invited to the live final at ingredients supplier Bakels’ test bakery in Bicester on 14 September – the first day of National Cupcake Week (14 to 20 September).
On the day, supplier Barry Callebaut will put on two chocolate masterclasses for finalists as the judges pick their winners. The classes are worth up to £300 per person.
The event is sponsored by Barry Callebaut, online ordering company Hello and hosted by Bakels.
