A family-owned bakery has opened up a new site on Cheltenham’s Promenade

Based in the Cotswolds, Huffkins has now added a fourth bakery and tea room to its existing locations in Burford, Witney and Stow on the Wold. The company employs more than 100 staff and produces a fresh selection of cakes, sandwiches and baked goods, alongside its own brand products and hampers.

Topsy Taee, owner of Huffkins, said: “I’m delighted that we have been able to secure such a wonderful site on the promenade. We are really looking forward to bringing our hand-crafted, Cotswold produce to Cheltenham”.

Huffkins won five prestigious stars in the Great Taste Gold Awards in 2011 for its cranberry and Cointreau fruit cake, Cotswold seeded bread loaf and fruit scones, and four further awards at the Western Bakery Championships.
