Catering company Compass Group has appointed Ian El-Mokadem as CEO of its UK & Ireland Division. He was previously md of telecommunications company Onetel. He will join Compass on May 8.
Glasgow based craft bakery chain Bradfords has been voted ‘Glasgow’s Favourite Business’. The 12 shop retail baker and catering supplier was picked as the winner by the readers of Glasgow’s Evening Times newspaper.
Desserts manufacturer, Vittles Foods, has been accreditated by the British Retail Consortium (BRC). Martin Zalesny, Director of Vittles, comments, “As well as giving further assurance to our current UK clients, it means that our international clients have something they can relate to, so it’s a real benefit to us.”
Northants-based tortilla company Sonora Foods has been given an ‘A’ grading by inspection and certification organisation EFSIS.
