The London & South East Region of the National Association of Master Bakers has announced its 10th annual Golf Day will take place at Surrey National Golf Club, on Wednesday 27 July. Renshaw accolade
Renshaw has been named Exporter of the Year, as part of an entry for parent firm The Real Good Food Company, at the Liverpool Daily Post Regional Business Awards. Renshaw has increased its export sales year-on-year with a 73% increase in export turnover since 2008.
Dean’s mini move
Dean’s of Huntly has added a twist to its range of shortbread and oat biscuits with the launch of new mini bite-size versions in snack bags, including Mini Shortbread Rounds and Mini Original Oat Biscuits.
Mural message
Grahams Bakery in Epworth has had a mural painted on the wall inside the bakery by a local artist (one of its van drivers), in a bid to get across the ’field to fork’ concept of the business. The firm said a lot of its customers did not realise it bakes all of its products on the premises, by hand, using old-fashioned methods.
Polish-ed courses
