French boulangerie and patisserie Maison Blanc has been awarded seven gold stars at this year’s Great Taste Awards, across five different products.
It achieved two stars for its classic Coffee Éclair, and the Josephine, an exotic fruit mousse and vanilla genoese resting on a crisp macaroon base, topped with fresh fruit.
Its Apple and Rosewater Tart, Chocolate and Chilli Tart and Colombier were awarded one gold star each.
Rebecca Rose, head of marketing, Maison Blanc, said: “Each year we receive more gold stars for more of our products. It’s a great tribute to the skill of our patissiers that, despite growing competition, we continue to grow our presence in these prestigious awards.”
The Great Taste awards are organised by the Guild of Fine Food.
