Frozen bakery supplier Mantinga has launched a new bread basket of artisan breads, targeted at the hotel and restaurant sector, called the Melange du Pain.

The five hand-crafted breads are produced using traditional methods by a bakery in northern Bavaria, Germany. They are supplied in a mixed box, frozen and ready to bake-off. There are three flute-style breads; a Pepperoni, full of mild chilli peppers, an Epi stick, ideal as a tear and share offering and a Herb Provence Bouchette. An Olive Ciabatta and a Walnut Ciabatta round out the range.

"These breads offer a great point of difference for restaurants and hotels as they are quality stone-baked artisan breads," commented Steven Mackintosh, managing director of Mantinga.
