Sweet treats Flower & White is moving from its premises in Shrewsbury to Telford in January next year as it looks to build on its success in the UK.

Flower & White, which employs 29 members of staff, produces brands Merangz, Tweeners and Muffinz as well as own label products. Its goods are sold in retailers including Selfridges, Ocado, delis, farm shops and selected Wyevale Garden Centres.

The business - which last year changed its name from The Little Round Cake company -  is currently located on the Shropshire Food Enterprise Park, Shrewsbury. After two years of searching for a new site, it will be relocating to Halesfield, Telford.

Co-owners Leanne and Brian Crowther said they are delighted to enter the next stage of the business’ growth.

“We have managed to purchase a property in Telford, which will wholeheartedly meet our next phase of growth. We plan to be able to move into the premises in January, ready to commence a new year of trade,” Leanne said.

“As a company, we have always embraced growth and change, and are very proud of what we have achieved so far. We have many exciting opportunities ahead, not only in the UK, but also with growth into new European markets.”

The new premises will offer improved facilities for the business, such as a board room, production office and a development kitchen.

Earlier this month, Flower & White launched its festive lines.
