Trade charity Hospitality Action is urging foodservice and hospitality organisations to fundraise with their apprentices.
Hospitality Action, which is celebrating its 180th anniversary, is aiming to meet a £1.8million target this year.
As part of this, the Apprenticeship Challenge will take place across the country between March and September.
The charity said: “The activity should showcase initiative, imagination, organisational ability and skills, whilst also raising much needed funds to help thousands of people in the industry who need support.”
An awards ceremony will take place in November to celebrate everyone’s achievements.
Penny Moore, CEO of Hospitality Action, said: “We are looking forward to hearing about some creative, innovative and fun fundraising ideas in the coming months. It’s a great way to engage your team and bring people together.”
All money raised will be used to fund the work carried out by Hospitality Action, whether supporting people through illness or poverty. For more information about Hospitality Action click here.
