It is with sadness that British Baker can announce the passing away of Stan Connet, aged 87.
He worked for many years as secretary of Edinburgh Bakery Students, and was a well-known face throughout the Scottish and Northern Irish baking industries.
Connet had previously worked for Macphie of Glenbervie.
The funeral is being held today (6 November) at 12.30pm at Warrieston Crematorium, Cloister Chapel, Warrieston Rd, Edinburgh.
