As a little festive treat here are a few funnies from the web as we approach Christmas.

Here is Paul Hollywood and Mary Berry as you have never seen them before.

In fact, it’s David Walliams and Joanna Lumley, who have undergone a special makeover, as part of a forthcoming sketch show, ‘Walliams And Friends’. Here at Stop The Week we’re sure there will be several mentions of soggy bottoms…

Recently here at Stop The Week we brought you Bread Face Girl, the New Yorker who has a social media blog where she smashes her face into… well… bread.

Her reasons at that time were unknown. But now she has spoken for the first time to the trendy news site Vice. However, her answers are not the most illuminating – and we may forever be in the dark as why she has chosen to film herself getting covered in crumbs.

She told Vice: “I think this always disappoints people but there was actually very little thought that went into this. I wanted to put my face in bread, and so I did it. I thought people would really enjoy that.”

And her favourite bread to mush her mush into? “It’s between the Kaiser roll and the Wonder Bread … but if you look at those Breadfaceblogs, it’s pretty obvious.”

There has been an awakening… have you felt it?

No, we don’t mean Star Wars: The Force Awakens and instead we’re on about this fabulous Deat Star cake from YouTube blogger Nerdy Nummies.

Rosanna Pansino, 30, from Los Angeles, has launched her galactic creation online and it has already been viewed by nearly 640,000 in just a few days.

In her video, timed with the release of the latest instalment The Force Awakens, which has already broken box office records, she said: ’I’ve had so many requests for a death star cake in celebration of the new movie.

’I’ve wanted to make this for a really long time, and I’ve even worn my Star Wars holiday sweater for you guys.’
