Warburtons is making its return to the snacks market with its new range of Baked Pitta Chips, following a fire at its Bolton factory last summer.
The firm first entered the snacks market in March 2010, but production was halted due to fire damage on its snack line. In the interim, Warburtons said, it has reinvested in further consumer research and packaging development to optimise its offering.
The new snacks are made with twice-baked pitta bread. They will be available in Chilli Jack (40g); Sea Salt & Malt Vinegar (40g, 150g); Sea Salt & Cracked Black Pepper (40g, 150g); Sour Cream & Chive (150g) and Oriental BBQ (150g).
