Bakery business Carrs Foods has expanded its marketing division with the appointment of Tim Boote to the newly created role of marketing director.
Based at the company’s head office in Manchester, Boote will lead the brand strategy for Carrs Foods and the brands within its portfolio, which include Paul Hollywood, St Pierre and Baker Street.
Boote’s previous roles include leading marketing teams at multinational businesses including Kellogg’s and PZ Cussons.
Commenting on the appointment, Jeremy Gilboy, managing director of Carrs Foods, said: “Tim’s appointment reflects the continued success of the business and our plans for future growth.
“We have continued to grow year-on-year and the creation of this new marketing role supports our significant expansion plans, in both the home and overseas markets.”
