Yorkshire-based brand Feel Free for Gluten Free has moved into the breakfast market with the launch of its granola cereals and granola bars.
The products have been developed without oats, which some coeliacs cannot tolerate.
Sally Allister, managing director of Feel Free for Gluten Free, said: “So many of the free-from granolas already on the market that we tasted felt like they were lacking something. We were keen to create a granola that wouldn’t leave us feeling that something was missing.
“We also wanted our granola range to be free from oats while still having the quality and texture you would expect from a traditional granola. To achieve this, we have blended buckwheat and millet flakes with hazelnut, almonds and fruit to create a delicious, versatile granola that has a great crunchy texture. It’s incredibly moreish too!”
The new range, which will be launched at the Allergy & Free From Show in London’s Olympia from 4-6 July, comes in three varieties: honey & nut, fruit & nut, and strawberry & almond.
The granola bars are being launched to offer a new snack option for those on a gluten-free diet. These are also dairy-free.
