Muffin Break has opened its first site within a retail park, with further openings in the pipeline.
The café-bakery brand opened at Arnison Shopping Park in Durham, in a 1,500sq ft store.
The brand will soon open another site at the Maybird Retail Park at the end of March, in Stratford Upon Avon.
The café-bakery chain also has plans to open a store at the University Hospital Lewisham and at the beginning of May. This will be the second Muffin Break store to open within a hospital.
Muffin Break stores are usually situated within shopping centres and the new opening adds to its 53-strong sites across the UK.
Franchisee Rahim Hinkin commented: “There is a fantastic mix of ‘high street’ retailers at the Arnison Shopping Park, and we are excited about our new venture into retail parks. We are looking forward to providing Arnison shoppers something a little different for breakfast, lunch or snacking whilst shopping at the park. We hope our wide variety of quiches, sandwiches, cakes and, of course, the muffins we are famous for, will entice customers to visit us again and again.”
The brand bakes muffins and cakes on-site fresh every day.
