French artisan bakery and pâtisserie Paul is opening new sites in St Pancras International station and Canary Wharf this month.

The openings will bring the baker’s total number of London shops to 35, making a total of 38 across the UK.

The 1,250 sq ft Paul Express — the first of its kind — is opening in St Pancras International on Monday 21 May.

Located just before the departure gates for Eurostar, it will offer grab-and-go freshly ground coffee, Viennoiserie, sandwiches, salads and snacks.

“Being part of such a major international transport hub is the perfect next step in the brand’s growth,” commented Jean-Michel Orieux, CEO of Paul UK.

“We look forward to providing the thousands of commuters and tourists who pass through the station daily, with our traditional, hand-crafted baked goods.”

On Monday 28 May, Paul’s store at Canary Wharf will move to an expanded 1,430sq ft location on Cabot Place due to “huge demand”, according to Orieux.

As well as the brand’s usual offering, the shop will also have a cake personalisation station, with freshly baked pâtisserie filled in front of customers.
